For Filmmakers · The Digital Box Office

Opening
Night.

Your film's moment. Online. Real.

Not an upload. Not a private screener link. Not a streaming deal that costs you rights and clarity. A premiere — with a live audience, real tickets, and box office data you can use.

XineRent takes no rights · No subscription fees · You earn when your audience buys tickets
The Current Reality
Great films deserve more than a link and a view count.

YouTube, Vimeo, and streaming catalogues are distribution libraries — not premiere platforms. They offer reach without significance, metrics without meaning, and no opening night. The moment you upload, your film becomes catalogue inventory. There is no event, no moment, and no box office.

YouTube
"Lost in the algorithm."
A view count, competing for algorithmic attention against an enormous volume of content. No opening night, no event structure, and no meaningful performance data.
Vimeo
"A screener link."
A private link distributed to a list — opened by a fraction of recipients. No premiere structure, no live audience, and no event record.
Streaming Deal
"Under consideration."
Rights negotiations, opaque revenue structures, and limited visibility in a catalogue that audiences rarely browse intentionally. Your film becomes a line item.
What You Get
Your film's opening night. With data.

When your premiere closes, you receive a complete Digital Box Office report — the same opening-night intelligence that studios have always had and independent filmmakers have never had access to.

Not a view count. Not an estimated impression. Real data from a real event, in real time.

🎟
Tickets Sold
Real ticket count, real revenue. Not estimated impressions. Your premiere had an audience — you know exactly how many people were in the room.
💰
Revenue Earned
Your money, transparently tracked from the moment tickets go live. No opaque revenue share. No mystery payments.
🌍
Countries Reached
Where your audience came from. Every country represented in your premiere is listed. Your film has a global footprint — you can prove it.
📊
Completion Rate
The percentage of your audience who watched to the final frame. This is engagement data studios pay significant money for. You get it automatically.

Filmmaker FAQ
Questions filmmakers ask us.
Does XineRent take any rights to my film? +
No. Your creative and commercial rights are fully yours before, during, and after the premiere. We take no ownership of your work — ever.
What is the revenue split? +
Our processing terms are shared during the premiere application process. Email us at xinerent@gmail.com to discuss your specific premiere.
Do I need to bring my own audience? +
Yes — at this stage, filmmakers bring their own audience. XineRent provides the premiere infrastructure: ticketing, the live screening environment, real-time attendance, and the Digital Box Office report. Audience discovery features are in active development.
How far in advance do I need to apply? +
We recommend at least 3–4 weeks before your intended premiere date. This allows enough time for setup, ticket sale promotion, and audience building. The more lead time, the better your opening night.
What if very few tickets sell? +
You decide whether to proceed. We recommend being realistic about your first premiere and focusing on your existing network. Even a small, paying audience generates meaningful Digital Box Office data and creates a genuine premiere record. The pilot premiere sold out within its network. Start there.
My film has already been released online. Can I still use XineRent? +
XineRent is ideally used for first-run premieres — films that have not yet been made publicly available. The premiere window carries more weight when the film has not been seen before. We evaluate each application individually — email us.
What kinds of films can premiere on XineRent? +
Any film format — short film, feature, documentary, series pilot. We review every application. What we look for: a filmmaker who is serious about their premiere, a film that is ready for an audience, and a clear intended premiere date.
